World 18 ("we", "us", or "our") operates the world18.org website and the World 18 game server. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What We Collect
Account Data: When you create a game account, we store your username, a securely hashed password, your selected game mode, and your in-game progress (levels, inventory, bank, etc.).
Discord Link: If account linking is enabled and you use it, we store the link between your game account and your Discord user ID.
Technical Data: Our servers log IP addresses and connection timestamps for security purposes (detecting abuse, preventing unauthorized access). These logs are rotated and deleted automatically.
Website Cookies: We only use functional cookies, and only when you log in with Discord on the download page: one to keep you logged in for up to 24 hours, and one that protects the login for 10 minutes. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics services, or advertising networks.
Visitor Count: To show how many people have visited the site, we keep a one-way code made from your IP address and a secret key (for IPv6, from the network part of the address), only to count each visitor once. We do not keep the IP address itself, your browser details or a cookie for this, and bots are not counted.
Client Downloads: When you download the client, we record the time, your Discord account ID and the client version.
Chat Assistant: The on-site advisor (Wardeen) answers from a fixed list of topics, inside your browser. If you type a question Wardeen cannot answer, we keep that question anonymously for 90 days to improve Wardeen: only the text, the day and how often it was asked. We do not keep your name, IP address, browser details or any cookie with it, and e-mail addresses, links and long numbers are removed from the text first. Nothing is kept that could identify you, so please do not type personal details in the chat. Questions Wardeen can answer, and the buttons you press, are not sent or kept.
How We Use Your Data

Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure password hashing, regular backups, and restricted server access.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share data only if required by law.
Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us on Discord.
Security logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Your Rights
Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Request data portability
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our Discord server.
Third-Party Services
Discord: If you link your account, your Discord user ID is processed in accordance with Discord's Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare: Our website uses Cloudflare for security and performance. Cloudflare may process technical data according to their Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
World 18 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
