World 18 ("we", "us", or "our") operates the world18.org website and the World 18 game server. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Account Data: When you create a game account, we store your username, a securely hashed password, your selected game mode, and your in-game progress (levels, inventory, bank, etc.).
Discord Link: If you use the /link command, we store the association between your game account and your Discord user ID. This enables features like the live drop feed and the Verified role.
Technical Data: Our servers log IP addresses and connection timestamps for security purposes (detecting abuse, preventing unauthorized access). These logs are rotated and deleted automatically.
Website Cookies: We use essential cookies only — to remember your cookie consent preference and basic session data. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics services, or advertising networks.
How We Use Your Data

Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure password hashing, regular backups, and restricted server access.

Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us on Discord.
Security logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Discord: If you link your account, your Discord user ID is processed in accordance with Discord's Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare: Our website uses Cloudflare for security and performance. Cloudflare may process technical data according to their Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
World 18 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately.
